All of them are good POS systems. None of them is a hotel.
That is the whole comparison, and we say it without putting anyone down.
If your restaurant is not inside a hotel, any of these will serve you well. If it is, this table explains why none of them solves half of your operation.
Capability by capability
We compare what each system does, not what it costs.

Against restaurant-specialized POS systems
They are excellent at what they do and have spent years polishing it. The problem shows up when your restaurant lives inside a hotel: then room charge depends on an integration with another vendor, and an integration is a contract, a fee, a point of failure and an argument about whose fault it was. We don’t integrate with the hotel. We are the hotel.
Against enterprise hotel suites
They do everything we do and more, and they have been doing it for decades. They also cost what they cost, take months to implement, almost always through an implementation partner, and the POS is usually a different product from the rooms system, with its own contract. If you have an IT team and three hundred properties, they are a legitimate choice. If you have one to forty hotels and want to be operating this week, that is where we are.
Against “we already have something and it works”
The cost of your current system is not what you pay. It is the charge that never got posted, the group invoice that stopped over one mistake, the reconciliation hours every month and the cash shortage nobody could explain. That number does not show up on any quote.
All of them are good POS systems. None of them is a hotel.
Your restaurant already sells. Your system just does not know it.
Fifteen minutes, with your menu and your tables. Nothing to install.
