This page exists because it is the first real question any operator asks, and almost no vendor answers it without a call.
No proprietary hardware, no server and nothing to install. This is everything you need, item by item, and what we recommend even when it is not a requirement of ours.
What you need
Any tablet, computer or phone with a browser. The ones you already have will do. We do not sell hardware and we do not force you to buy it.
Any. iPad, Android, Windows, Mac or Chromebook: if it opens a browser, it works. There is no desktop version to install and no processor requirements.
Stable internet. Today the system requires a connection; offline operation is on the roadmap and we say so here, not during setup.
Optional. Works with network receipt printers. The kitchen screen replaces the ticket printer, if you want it to.
Your own. We do not charge a percentage of your sales and we do not tie you to a processor.
None. There is nothing to install, back up or patch at your property.
None.
A work network separate from the guest network, as good practice. It is not a requirement of ours, it is basic hygiene.
Honest recommendations
- Keep a charged backup device. It is worth more than any warranty.
- If your internet drops often, fix that before switching systems. That is the problem, not the point of sale.
- If you are going to buy tablets, buy two more than you think you need. One is always missing at peak hour.
- If your current system requires a Windows server on site, back it up this week. It is what the power outage takes with it.

Your restaurant already sells. Your system just does not know it.
Fifteen minutes, with your menu and your tables. Nothing to install.
